It is a month into New Year’s 2020 already. Where does the time go? Could it actually be that time confines me? Many say that time escapes us, but I think that I escape time or at least I try. We have been conditioned to hear sayings like: “Time is of the essence.” “Time waits on no one.” “ Time heals all wounds.” “You have time.” “Time is money.” I agree with some of these sayings and disagree with others; what I do know is that time constraints me.
The “time is of the essence” saying is to be used in the case of contract agreements.
The “time waits on no one” saying is absolutely true for me. No matter what I am doing or no matter how much time I need, time never takes me into consideration, it just keeps on moving.
The “time heals all wounds” saying is ridiculous. Medicine may heal, yet the Power within is the definite healer. Time is not a healer; it’s a thief who restricts my freedom.
The “you have time” saying is a set-up and a farce. We do not have time; time has us. Just remember, you do not need time; you just need Self to move forward.
The “time is money” saying works both ways: It works when I am giving of myself with no return on investment. It does not work when I try to use it to pay my mortgage.
I am breaking free. I am learning to see time as numbers on a clock and no longer as space allotted to me.
This new attitude adjustment brought me to a higher altitude. One week before 2020, my BFF and I decided to consider a new business venture. Forty-eight hours before 2020, we decided to apply for a major equipment loan for the new venture. Twenty-four hours before 2020, we were approved! Supposedly, we had not given ourselves enough time to consider the risks, nor obtain all the information needed to capture this new venture and definitely not enough time to find equipment and get approved.
You see, it’s not about TIME and it’s not even about DETERMINED since we are practicing now, to no longer allow our minds to be deterred. It is FREEDOM! Freedom to trust self with no time and its constraints.
